Something a bit more concrete than one of my previous suggestion in this forum.

Summary
* Add fancy titles that doesn't count towards GWAMM.
* Call them achievements and make them account wide.
* Add a New Tab in Hero [H] window.
* Let users display an achivement instead of a title.

Ideas for Achievements

* Monk Master : Win 1000 PvP matches as a monk.
* <profession> Master : Win 1000 PvP matches as a <profession>. (includes SD, GvG, RA, HA, FA, JQ)
* Slayer of Ogres : Kill 1000 Ogres.
* Slayer of <Family> : Kill 1000 <Family>.
* Slayer of <Creature type> : Kill 1000 <Creature type>.

All is not about functionnalities, you would be surprised of success of similar systems in other games (Success Systems).
After all whole game give a false sense of worth to player as you say anyway, rare skins, elite armors, HoM, pets, ectos, emotes, etc...

No thanks. If there isn't enough reason for you to find something to 'grind' for, then find a new game. The titles we have are plenty enough to keep playing it 'achievement' is your purpose. I like playing because I enjoy the game, the 'achievements' are nice, but not what keeps me playing.

Reason:

We already have enough titles, trophies, achievements, what have you to keep most people grinding until GW2 is released. If you've already obtained all of the titles for GWAMM then: work on a new char and do it again, elite areas, switch gears from PvE to PvP (or vice versa), or do what a majority of people do in games they're bored of but don't want to quit -- talk in outposts while multi-tasking (classwork, another game) aka chatroom.

actually all you people saying go back to xbox360 you should be saying go back to Resistance 2 because these are basically re-worded titles of the trophies on ps3.

is Xbox so terrible ? idk but you seem to know it well and got a bad experience from it. i gonna tell you, stop it, and keep talking about PC only.

sorry but i was thinking about steam system for example that has successes for most of RPG, FPS, RTS from its catalogue.
(GW is sold in it fyi. futher similar success integration for coming gw2 aswell is probably not impossible, though noone can say it yet.)

@depletion, ye actually i got my gwamm and made a char for each profession. but it's not about me, i am not looking for titles for me.

I am quite surprised people get shocked by fancy titles whereas they are collecting fancy skins ingame. It is the same deal.

this sytem is so good and can be so funny that it could be extended to real life :
Master House Opener : Open your door 10000 times.
Slayer of XBox : Send your Xbox in your trash can 1000 times.
